Compassionate Legal (Support for Survivors)

H & A Immigration Law Offices helps individuals and families understand and complete their U.S. immigration process with confidence. Immigration law can be stressful and confusing—especially for survivors of serious crimes such as human trafficking. Our role is to guide you clearly from start to finish and help you make informed decisions about your future, with care, privacy, and respect.

The T Visa is a humanitarian immigration benefit designed to protect victims of severe forms of human trafficking who are present in the United States and willing to assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of trafficking crimes. This visa offers safety, legal status, and a path forward for survivors seeking stability and protection.

What Is a T Visa?

A T Visa allows eligible victims of human trafficking to:

  • Remain legally in the United States

  • Obtain work authorization

  • Access certain public benefits

  • Apply for lawful permanent residence (a Green Card) in the future

The law recognizes the trauma trafficking victims face and provides immigration relief to help them rebuild their lives without fear of deportation.

Who May Qualify for a T Visa?

You may be eligible for a T Visa if:

  • You are a victim of a severe form of human trafficking (labor or sex trafficking)

  • You are physically present in the U.S. because of trafficking

  • You have complied with reasonable requests from law enforcement (with exceptions for minors or trauma-related inability)

  • You would suffer extreme hardship involving unusual and severe harm if removed from the U.S.

Every case is different. We take the time to understand your personal history, safety concerns, and immigration background before recommending the best legal strategy.
